Frequently Asked Questions

Q:Are all of your items handmade?
A: Yes. I personally craft everything sold on this site by hand.

Q:Do you charge shipping and handling?
A: Yes. Unless it states otherwise in the item description, I charge $2.50 per item to ship orders USPS First Class Mail anywhere in the continental United States.

Q: Do you ship to other countries?
A: Yes. Shipping prices will vary based on the country and the item(s) you order. You can e-mail me for specific prices.

Q: Will you take special commissions?
A: Yes! I will be more than happy to make you the hat or scarf or Hugger of your monkey-loving dreams. If you see something you like in my gallery, or wish an item in the store was available in a different color or yarn type, it might be possible. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions regarding special orders.

Q:Do you make vegan items?
A: Yes! I work with a lot of acrylic and cotton fibers. However, because I use a variety of yarns, be sure to check each item's description for the vegan label. Or, you can contact me for further information and help.

Q:Do you make "Green" items?
A: Yes! I not only make green items, I create eco-friendly fiber art as well! :) Jokes aside, unused or no longer wanted yarn and clothing are just as bad for the enviroment as other trash. I enjoy recycling and repurposing yarn of all types in my items. Many of my item discriptions will tell you if they contain recycled yarn. Or, you can contact me for further help and information.

Q:How do I care for my FiberMonkey fiber art?
A: I recomend washing your FiberMonkey goodies by hand or in the gentle cycle with cold water. Lay flat to dry. Do not machine dry!

Q:Does your fiber art come from a smoke free/ pet free home?
A: Yes and No. We have a very strict non-smoking home without cats or dogs. However, we do have a dwarf bunny. People who are allergic to rabbits or have small animal hair allergies should be aware that we simply cannot promise items with no hair!
